Los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2022 se celebraron en la noche de este jueves, 29 de septiembre, en el Wastco Center de Miami, Florida. Muchos son los artistas reconocidos que recibieron premios, como Becky G, Farruko o Bad Bunny. Este último se llevó nueve premios, entre los que destacan, artista del año, gira del año y compositor del año. Y es que Bad Bunny está rompiendo récords en sus conciertos y en las listas de éxitos. Está nominado a tiene diez candidaturas en la 23ª Entrega Anual de los Latin Grammy 2022 se celebrará el próximo 17 de noviembre en Las Vegas, Estados Unidos.

Farruko siguió a Bad Bunny en premios con su gran éxito 'Pepas', que ganó el codiciado premio Hot Latin Song of the year. Karol G fue la mejor artista femenina de los premios, ganando Hot Latin Songs y Top Latin Albums artista del año, femenino, mientras que 'Mamiii', su colaboración con Becky G , ganó Hot Latin Song of the year, evento vocal.
Además, en la gala se otorgaron premios especiales a Chayanne, al que le dieron el Premio Ícono de Billboard, mientras que Nicky Jam recibió el Premio del Salón de la Fama por su éxito como pionero del reggaeton. El premio Spirit of Hope por esfuerzos filantrópicos fue para Christina Aguilera, el cantante español Raphael recibió el premio Lifetime Achievement Award y José Feliciano fue honrado con el Premio Leyenda de Billboard.
